REVIEW: Mixed Results with Food Storage Companies

Are there ANY decent long-term food storage companies out there who do what they say they are going to?

This was where I was supposed to place my reviews and testimonials about several of the food storage systems I have dealt with and promised to take care of my audience.  I contacted the companies via email, and received enthusiastic responses about sending out some sample products to review and shoot youtube videos of to show people how to prepare it.

After months and months of waiting for materials from certain vendors, I’m going ahead with my review and tell you which companies I dealt with and how they treated me, a regular guy, who wanted nothing more than to check out their products.

Emergency Essentials–I contacted these folks first and actually sold some product for them through my website.  I contacted them.  Their initial email response made it clear they had no idea what I wanted (to do a review of their products).  So, I emailed another person.  Having contacted the correct person, they enthusiastically told me they would send out product—that was JUNE.  I was away for the summer so I let it go, but contacted them again in August.  It’s now almost October and they still haven’t followed-through.  Less than impressive.

efoods Direct–similar to above, but it’s only been a couple of months (2) since I contacted them.  Same enthusiastic emails, same promises of sending samples to review, same replies in their emails that things will be sent, and still nothing.

Wise–They advertise a free sample of their product to EVERYBODY.  I filled-out the forms.  A day later, I was contacted at my job and it went to voicemail. Wise contacted me promptly afterward, and  the samples were on the way.  Pleased with their customer service. Within about a calendar week, they had called me twice and the sample was at my door.
